Our 1:1 coaching is for athletes who value regular feedback and communication, supported by a training program that’s truly individualised. With fortnightly athlete check-ins and unlimited schedule adjustments for when the unexpected occurs, you’ll have frequent support throughout your training journey to ensure that you’re always on track. We’ve worked with first-timers, to experienced age-groupers and World Championship qualifiers, bringing both our knowledge and first hand experience, but most importantly a genuine desire to see each athlete succeed.
Kate brings the academic and clinical side as a PhD-qualified researcher, physiotherapist, and strength and conditioning coach, with a decade of work in concurrent strength and endurance training, running and cycling economy, and injury prevention in endurance athletes. Nick brings the elite end of the picture as an ex-professional triathlete and high-performance coach, with the first hand experience of racing at the top level alongside extensive coaching experience. Even though you will have one of us as your direct coach, every program is considered between both of us, because we think your training is better for it.

Our Personalised Programs are specifically designed for athletes who recognise the importance ensuring their training is tailored to their unique needs, but don’t require the ongoing support of 1:1 coaching. We’re big believers in ensuring that atheltes have an appropriate training load, which takes into account their training time availability, injury history and racing goals. We’re passionate about creating training programs that can integrate alongside athletes’ work and family commitments, leading to consistency in training and ultimately, your best race-day performances. As our Personalised Programs are individually tailored to each individual, they’re suitable for athletes of all levels.

Initial 45-minute consultation to understand your goals and training availability
Fully individualised 16/24 week endurance training plan created specifically for you, for your target event
Individualised strength and conditioning program built alongside the endurance plan
All training delivered through TrainingPeaks, with video demonstrations for all strength exercises
45-minute halfway consultation after 8/12 weeks to review progress and discuss any possible adjustments to the second half of the plan
45-minute race week consultation for a detailed discussion of your race day plan

STRENGTH TRAINING CONSULTATIONS
FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES

Strength consultations are for endurance athletes who want to improve their performance, reduce their injury risk and remove uncertainty in the gym. A strength program should address an individual’s weaknesses, including specific exercises at suitable loads, working in conjunction with your endurance training program, not against it. It’s ideal for athletes who feel unsure about what exercises to do, how many sets and reps to complete, how heavy to lift, or how to progress, and for athletes who wants strength training to meaningfully support performance, durability, and injury resilience.
Initial consultation:
Initial onboarding form to gather athlete information and understand the athlete’s background
Initial 60-minute consultation to discuss further your injury history, strength background and strengths and weaknesses
Following the initial consultation, you’ll receive a personalised strength training plan created specifically for you, delivered through TrainingPeaks with video demonstrations for all strength exercises
A 20-minute consultation review is included within the first 2-4 weeks, to ensure that you’re adjusting well to the plan and consider any adjustments if needed
Suitable for runners, triathletes and swimmers competing across all distances
Follow-up consultation:
45-minute review to discuss progress and establish a progression to your strength program
Following the follow-up consultation, you’ll receive an updated strength training plan
Note, when approaching key events, your strength training program will include a suitable taper to ensure you’re race ready!
